Proper maintenance is essential to the longevity and reliability of your handgun. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the disassembly (field strip), cleaning, and reassembly of your handgun.

We request that you bring your unloaded firearm, owner's manual, and cleaning kit to class. All supplies will be provided as necessary, but it is best to work with your own equipment for familiarity.

We have kits and supplies available for purchase to take home and offer a class package to include a handgun cleaning kit and CLP oil during registration, so you will have everything needed to maintain your handgun once you are home.

COURSE DETAILS

Routine maintenance will improve the reliability and lifespan of your firearm, however each firearm may be assembled and disassembled in a different way. Using your unloaded firearm, this course will specifically guide you through the process of maintaining your handgun for maximum proficiency.

Routine maintenance will also afford you the opportunity to have a more in-depth understanding of your firearm and prevent costly mistakes resulting from improper care. Proper maintenance will also allow you to detect any damage or signs of excessive wear after use.

We will provide all supplies necessary to complete the cleaning process during class, however we offer a Class Package to include a Handgun Cleaning Kit and Ballistol Oil to keep, so you will have everything you need to maintain your firearm at home going forward.

We recommend that you bring:

Your unloaded handgun
Your owners manual
A cleaning kit designed for your caliber handgun (or choose class package that includes kit and oil.)

No live ammunition is permitted in the classroom during the class.
